Since moving to Atlanta over a year ago, I discovered that I absolutely adore street food. Today's food trucks are no longer the "roach coaches" of yesteryear. Most trucks in Atlanta now have restaurant-quality health code ratings posted in their windows for all patrons to see. (It reminds me of California!) The modernized trucks offer a wide variety of eats, from healthy to fried, and there's always a new truck to try. Sampling items from various trucks is like building your own tapas meal!

The Atlanta Food Truck Park & Market is the first permanent food truck site in Atlanta that's open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. They also have a weekend farmers market, live music and artist farm for visitors to enjoy.

I've been hunting food trucks regularly for a while now. Finally made my way to AFTPM last month. There were about 8-10 different trucks there, including a few that were new to me. Plenty of seating and a talented live acoustic musician, Marcel. Great place to go for date night and there's even an amazing view of the sunset!
Want to see what I ate for dinner?
Appetizer: Cheesy Risotto Balls with Marinara
Truck: Mobile Marlay
Main Course: Buffalo Chicken Meatball Slider (and a tiny bite of the Italian Meatball Slider)
Truck: Mighty Meatballs
Dessert: Scarlett Strawberry Cupcake (strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream)
Truck: Yum Yum Cupcake

AFTPM
