Dear blog,

I know you must be starving since the last time I fed you was three months ago. I miss you! You know how life gets sometimes... days turn into months and before you have time to stop the year is slipping away. Blogging consistently is a lifestyle, so I'm making a goal to post at least once a week. After all, I know you're worth it. Now, where to begin on filling you in!

I've started using about two weeks ago to track my calories and exercise. Not because I'm obsessing over it, but simply because I wanted to see if I was getting enough protein in my diet. So far it's been fun to check-in and track things, get points, trophies and reports on my daily intake and burn. Who knew how much calories a person could drink on an average weekend?! That was a little shocking at first and I've made some adjustments, like defaulting to vodka and LaCroix with a lemon or red wine and skipping the beer all together.

Through I found a free Saturday morning yoga class in my neighborhood at an athletic wear boutique. I've been a few times and discovered that I really enjoy yoga, even at 9am on a weekend. It's a great way to start the day! There are so many different types of routines from relaxing to power and I'm looking forward to exploring more of it.
