I just bought some fitness.

Groupon deals get me! $37 for Five Introductory Yoga Classes at Stillwater Yoga ($75 Value) Yes, please. I've been wanting to take yoga classes for so is the time. Working on my fitness! This one is near the office (convenient) and has a good online presence. Sounds like there are a few yoga blogs in my near future.

Goodbye, June.

Milky Way Latte & Strawberry Cupcake @ West Egg Cafe

There's something nostalgic about West Egg. A photo booth in need of repair. Quiet Sunday evening atmosphere. Breakfast all day. What more could you ask for? Take my advice and order the Milky Way latte. Such a treat! I think this has to be the most beautiful drink I have ever ordered. I'm a sucker for coffee art! ♥

This Strawberry Cupcake with a sweet Strawberry Cream Cheese was pretty amazing as well. The cake consistency was more like a blueberry muffin, except made with strawberries. Love that.

Kinda sad we couldn't play in the photo booth! It was in need of repairs.

Treats with friends is always a great way to end the week.

Au revoir!

Crunchy Onion Baked Chicken & Salad

Yes, that's deliciousness right there! French's Crunchy Onion Chicken is baked, probably one of the easiest recipes ever and pairs well with mixed organic greens and veggies. YUM!

Amazing Eats at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

Last night I had the most fabulous meal with my sista at Pappadeaux in Atlanta. She's been keeping this place a secret from me! We get there around 8pm and find out that she knows the hostess from way back. (Our buzzer literally went off after about 5 minutes when there was over a 40 minute wait for a table. VIP!)

The first thing that we ordered was the most delicious dip I have EVER put in my mouth, hands down! Lump Crab & Spinach Dip with crispy garlic cheese bread...OMG. I could eat that by itself and call it a night.

I saw a woman with this drink and had to order one for myself. It's called a Swamp Thing made from a mix of raspberry and melon liqueurs blended with frozen Hurricane & Margarita. Fantastic! Brain freeze though.

I hate to admit that even though I'm a Florida girl, I've never had oysters before. She was shocked and insisted that we order some. Her favorites were the Oysters Baton Rouge - oysters on the half shell baked with a Parmesan Romano che…

Beautiful Beet Salad

Do you ever notice that some foods you couldn't stand when you were younger are now very appealing and appetizing to you? Beets are one of those foods for me. Now I love to juice them, make red vel-beet cupcakes and eat them in salads. Beets hare high in antioxidants, and have anti-inflammatory and detoxification properties. SO good for you! Here's a beautiful organic salad I made from my picks from Your Dekalb Farmers Market: mixed greens, cucumber, beets, carrots, tomatoes, red cabbage, black olives and feta cheese.

Sweet S'mores...

Guess what...there was also a gas-powered fire pit in the backyard! I took advantage of that as well and made gooey, melty, yummy s'mores under the stars. During the two weeks of house-sitting I think I ate more s'mores than I have in the last 10 years of my life. They were too good!

P.S. I'm now the mayor of the Fire Pit.

Chicken & Veggie Kabobs

Picture me house-sitting in this gorgeous place with an awesome grill out back calling my name. I just HAD to use it!! Over Memorial Day weekend we invited the fam over for some chicken and veggie kabobs and classic American hot dogs. I marinated the chicken for half the day in some Italian dressing, chopped up the veggies, threaded the kabobs and the boys took care of the rest. They turned out amazing! Healthy, satisfying and perfect for this time of year. If I had a grill we'd be grillin' out waaaaaay more often. So good!

My Picks from Dekalb Farmers Market

I've heard of a must-see place in the Atlanta Metro Area they call Your Dekalb Farmers Market. While house-sitting we decided to check it out since it was only a few miles away. It turns out that it's an absolutely massive World Market with foods literally from all over the globe. Quite the overwhelming place for a foodie girl like me! Mostly organic produce with excellent prices, all baked goods were organic and made there, the meat and cheese selection was incredible. I mean, it's hard to find words to describe this market! I really want to go back with a serious camera and spend a good chunk of my Saturday taking photos of the vast assortment of eats. It's breathtaking!

OMG, the garlic cheese is like a slice of heaven...
